What is Erosion?
Watch the Bill Nye video and scroll down for more additional information from ME!
The agents of erosion are
- Wind
- Water
- Waves
- Glaciers (ice)
- Gravity
- Wind can pick up sand and other sediments and move them.
- Water can pick up small rocks and weathered material and move them along with it
- Waves come up, pick up sand and other sediments and brings them all back into the ocean
- Glaciers are giant moving pieces of ice, so they can obviously move sediments
- Gravity, whatever sediments go up MUST come down
